Skytrail was proud to support the Heart Cells Foundation Golf Day at Coombe Hill Golf Club, with Managing Director Neil Colney joining fellow supporters, partners and businesses for a day dedicated to raising vital funds for groundbreaking heart failure research.
The annual event brings together organisations from across a range of industries to support the Heart Cells Foundation’s mission to advance stem cell therapy research for heart failure patients. Over more than two decades, the charity’s golf day has played an important role in generating both awareness and funding for research that could help improve and extend lives.
As a long-standing supporter of the Foundation, Skytrail was delighted to be represented by Neil Conley, who joined participants for a day of networking, fundraising and friendly competition on one of Surrey’s most respected golf courses. The event was described by organisers as a great success, bringing together businesses and supporters united behind an important cause.
One of the most moving moments of the day came from patient Simon Earle, who shared his personal experience of living with heart failure and the life-changing difference the treatment has made to him. His story was a powerful reminder of why continued support for the Foundation’s work is so important.
With a Phase III clinical trial due to begin later this year, the Heart Cells Foundation is entering a crucial stage in its mission to make this innovative treatment available through the NHS. Every fundraiser, partnership and donation helps bring that goal closer to reality.
